My friend Sarah and I took our kids to cornbelly's yesterday and they had an absolute blast. We stayed until the sun was almost gone and we were freezing our butts off. It was a wonderful day and I am thinking we should do it every year.
This is what happens after a fun filled no nap day at Cornbelly's

Bow Crazy
I have been trying my hand at making bows to match Alyssa's winter outfits. It has been alot of fun and I may have to do it for every new outfit she gets!!

Feeding the ducks
Alyssa has always loved feeding the ducks. She is getting braver (is that a word?) and will actually go up to the ducks and try to get them to eat out of her hand. I had to stop her several times, who knows if those ducks will think her tiny fingers are food? In that last picture she found one of those bugs that look like a leaf and she had to get down to inspect it.

Park Time
We went to the park today. I figured we would try to get in as much time as we could outside before it gets to cold. We have been teaching Alyssa to say please, thank you...etc. She was so polite to the other kids at the playground today. If another child was going down the stairs as she was going up she would say "oh, sorry" and move out of there way and when they got all the way down she would say "thank you". It was so cute, at least I know that it's sinking in.

All Hail Princess Alyssa
Alyssa has been obsessed with being a princess ever since we picked up her princess Halloween costume a few weeks ago. She isn't allowed to wear the dress for play until after halloween but she does wear the crown and her shoes.
She has to be in full princess mode pretty much all day and even at bedtime. When I go in her room in the morning the first thing she says is "mommy I a princess", when I carry her downstairs she says "mommy carries the princess". It was really cute for the first couple weeks but it is starting to get very frustrating especially when we want to go somewhere and it is a fight to get her out of her "princess dress" which is actually her nightgown.
