I thought the day would never come when I could say that Alysa is finally full potty trained. This day has been a long time coming and I guess she finally decided that she was ready. She has only had two accidents since we started 4 weeks ago, she even stay's dry overnight. I never ever thought that potty training would be sooo stressful. She is so proud of herself for being a big girl and we are also very proud of her.

Carnival 2009
We took Alyssa to the carnival tonight and she had a great time. The rain stopped for the couple hours we were out and it was kind of nice not to have the blazing sun. This was her first carnival and I think we are going to have to go back every year. I posted about a million pics.

Alyssa is 3 years old!
I can't believe my baby is 3 years old. It seems like only yesterday that she was a newborn, it goes by so fast. We had a princess party with our family and she had an absolute blast. I tried my hand at a princess dress cake and it turned out pretty well.

Random thoughts
I haven't been on here in a while! I don't have a whole lot of exciting stuff to report. Alyssa is still struggling with going on the potty, we have quit for a month and will try again at the end of March. I am hoping she will be done by her 3rd Birthday. We have tried everything imaginable to get her to go but she just isn't ready/willing to do so.
We have also been getting stuff together for her 3rd Birthday which is in May. I can't believe my baby is going to be 3. It is so exciting and sad at the same time. I will definitely post pics of her party.
Alyssa has started saying the funniest things, as her vocabulary expands. She has started saying "umm" before answering any question. She also says "that would be wonderful" when we ask if she wants something. She also has this habit of not watching where she is going so we are always telling her to "be careful" "watch where you are going" so the other day I tripped and she said "momma, be careful".
I can't wait to see what other things she comes up with!
